This is my 25th year in C-04 at the Creek which is odd considering how often teachers change rooms around here. Did you know we have NO carpet in the hallways and the planters in the atrium are gone! The lockers are orange and a new media center is being built! I started teaching the children of my ex-students about 5 years ago... Time does march on QUICKLY!

We had a "semi-clean sweep" during the summer and I got rid a oodles of 80's fashions. It was hard salvaging some of my favorites from being chucked by my daughter who constantly whined,"GET RID OF IT, MOM- IT's SOOOOOO 80's!"

I've been married over three decades,and I thought the 80's were remarkable!

I joined SCHS's faculty in '80 and was TEACHER OF THE YEAR in '84. Darius and I had Damon in '78 & Darilynn in '85. I have been Palmetto Club Jr Pres.; sec. & historian of the FL Council of Teachers of Eng., & choir member @ First Bapt. downtown Daytona. The VFW's Voice of Democracy Contest & Boys and Girls State are still my responsibility. Currently I serve the Nat. Council of Teachers of Eng. as the FL state leader for the literary magazine contest. Teaching is still a joy. Praise God for I am so blessed.
