About the Instructor:
Ron Minkoff has been a home brewer since 2003 and is the treasurer of the Ft. Lauderdale Area Brewers (FLAB), Broward county's only homebrew club. Besides extensive studying of the brewing arts, he has held numerous informal beer tastings at events, beer fests and parties. Ron is a "Certified" ranked BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) beer competition judge. He is a former contributor and writer that provided articles on beer appreciation to the Sun-Sentinel's Lifestyle and Food section.

Professionally, Ron is the president/owner of Web Reflections, a Web site development and training company. Ron has been teaching technical classes since 1991 for individuals, groups and companies, including teaching courses for the Broward County Adult Education system. He is the manager of the ColdFusion User Group, and a member of Toastmasters International.
